Event & Celebration
At Shri Krishan Gaushala, every day is sacred, and our events reflect the deep bond between devotion, community, and Gau Seva. Through religious festivals, seva gatherings, and medical camps, we aim to create a space where people reconnect with their roots and serve cows with love and respect.
Monthly Seva Events
Every month, we organize community Gau Seva days where volunteers and devotees come together to:
- Feed cows with jaggery, green grass, and bananas
- Clean the shelters and apply gobar lep (cow dung plaster)
- Chant mantras and sing bhajans in the presence of cows
These events are open to all. Families, children, and elders can participate and experience the joy of serving Gau Mata.
Festive Celebrations
Our Gaushala becomes spiritually vibrant during special festivals. Some of our key celebrations include:
- Govardhan Puja: Beautiful cow decoration, Annakut prasad, and parikrama
- Gopashtami: A day dedicated to cow worship with Gau Pujan and cultural activities
- Makar Sankranti: Special feed distribution and traditional rituals
- Ram Navami / Janmashtami: Cow blessings and bhajan-kirtan programs
Every festival is celebrated with devotional energy, traditional rituals, and community participation.
Veterinary Health Camps
We also conduct free medical check-up camps for cows with the help of experienced veterinarians. These camps include
- Vaccinations and deworming
- Hoof care and minor treatments
- Health awareness for volunteers and caretakers
Such initiatives are vital for the well-being of our cows and allow people to witness the care that goes into Gau Seva.
